etti, but foster mom calls me Dude, and I am a 2 year old Labrador Retriever mix that was brought to the shelter by my owner and abandoned. When I got to the shelter my eye was really infected, so I had to have surgery to remove that eye. Since being in foster care my other eye became infected and I had to have it removed so I have no vision at all now. I am a super good guy, and just love being around my human friends and playing with other dogs. I am really smart, as I learned the areas around foster mom's home and how to use the doggy door to go out into the fenced backyard my self. Because I have no vision, I will need a home that has a fenced in yard so I do not wander off and get lost or in a dangerous area, such as the road. I am a really big boy, and walk well on a leash, but have to feel my way when I am uncertain of the areas. I love to sleep on my doggy blanket, and love to have my ears rubbed, sit on command, and love treats! I have the best personality, accept I do get grouch when other dogs are around (not people), and would be best fed separately if other dogs are in the area. Now, that the removal of my eye is all healed up, I am searching for my perfect and wonderful forever home to share my life and love with you! Are you searching for a great friend to add to your life? Well, adopt me and let's start making sweet memories together! My adoption fee is $125 and includes spay/neuter surgery, canine vaccinations (including rabies for puppies 12 weeks and older), deworming, heartworm testing, one month flea/tick and heartworm preventative, a wellness check with an OLHS-affiliated veterinarian, a microchip for permanent identification, one month of 24PetWatch Pet Insurance, an engraved ID tag, and a lifetime of unconditional love!
