d him and CLEARLY never cared for him. He was in awful shape when we rescued him and very skinny. We have given him lots of love, vet care, and good food and he is doing well in his foster home. He is a lab/hound mix best guess, approximately 7 years old and low key. He behaves nicely in the house and is good with other dogs and seems ok with cats too. More info from Pogo's foster mom....He's made me coin the term "indoor dog" because couch potato doesn't quite cut it. He wants nothing more than to be with his family. As soon as you get home, he does a happy dance! He loves sitting on the couch, and will scoot over until his head is in your lap. He can sit, stay, lie down, roll over, play dead, and give a paw. A perfect gentleman in the car, and an absolute hit at the pet store! He doesn't bark at all, except when he's protecting the house, when he lets out his "big dog" bark. Perfect on the leash and only needs to go out twice a day to explore the neighborhood- he gets around 8 blocks at night before he gets tuckered out and much less when the sun's out, maybe 2 blocks. Even though he's a senior, he can "hold it" for 9-10 hours. He minds when he's told not to bother the cat, but would do best without a cat, or at least one who won't be hanging out on the couch with him. His weakness is water- he doesn't go in the pool, avoids puddles, and won't leave the carport when it's raining. He will still let you give him a bath with no complaints! Very little interest in other dogs, but he's pretty submissive, only defensive when they instigate- maybe best as an only child but could depend on the other dog.
