My brother Casem (Casey) and I are looking for a quiet, calm, and loving home with someone who likes to cuddle, give out ear scratches, and thinks dogs in matching sweaters are extra cute! Casey and I aren’t related by blood, I am a Maltese and he is a Bishon Frise, but he is the best big brother. He is always following me around and looking after me. We love to be together all the time! Sometimes he tries to eat my food, but I don’t mind. He is a good snuggler and shares blankets and beds with me. We get along with almost everyone and make friends everywhere we go. We are small, and don’t take up much space. We enjoy slow walks, long naps, quiet days, and always being near our humans. If you think your home would be a good fit for us, and you have room for our sweaters, please fill out an application! **BONDED pairs MUST be adopted together** Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Many states have larger populations of adoptable dogs and their shelters are willing to transport pets to suitable adopting families. Some shelters might have requirements for a home visit, a fenced yard or require you to visit the pet multiple times before you commit to adopting. Understand that the shelters are doing their best to place the pets in suitable homes and these requirements are in the best interest of both you and the pet

  5. Meet in person. - Whenever possible it is best to meet the animal in person before agreeing to bring them into your life.
