occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.
2/25/24
Tucker and his sisters, Tia and Tanna, were found as strays (likely dumped). A good citizen scooped them up off the streets but was unable to do any more than that, so he asked us to help. Tucker is currently about 40 lbs and he appears to be about 5 months old, so he still has some growing to do. We believe he is a poodle mix of some sort, possibly mixed with schnauzer, but that is purely a guess. They should not go to homes that require a "hypo allergenic" dog. Tucker has the heaviest coat of the group, with big, soft, flowing waves and curls. All 3 pups are very friendly and sweet natured. They get along very well with other dogs of various sizes/ages/personalities. They are curious about the resident cat. Their foster mom is a strong leader so their cat interest has been greatly tempered with her leadership. If you have a cat in the home, you will need to be a strong leader as well, to avoid any issues. Tucker and his sisters are very smart, happy dogs, who are quickly catching on to the routines of the house, including house and crate training. They are playful and snuggly with easy going personalities. They will adjust easily to pretty much any family situation and would be great in a home with kids, with their gentle nature. They will be ready to transport the week of 3/3, arriving in the northeast on 3/8.

This includes microchip, spay/neuter, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive.
