ing as she is eager to please, the elegant 18-pound pup loves adults and children alike, and especially loves other dogs, faithfully following their lead and example. Affection paws-onified, this calm cutie loves cuddling with her people, and thrives on attention and praise – and of course, treats -- as her main motivators. She walks excellently on a leash, loves chasing toys, and plays contentedly with squeaky toys and bully sticks when she’s simply relaxing. Housetrained and happy, Rhianna sleeps soundly through the night, dreaming, no doubt, of life in a fun and loving fur-ever home with another friendly dog for companionship. Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care, enabling us to save more lives! Adoption fee is $200 and covers microchip, DAPP, Rabies, Heart Worm test and spay/neuter. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application here .   3. Learn about the shelters and their adoption policies - It might be easier to start looking at shelters within a certain radius of home but don't be afraid to venture out to other states as well. Many states have larger populations of adoptable dogs and their shelters are willing to transport pets to suitable adopting families. Some shelters might have requirements for a home visit, a fenced yard or require you to visit the pet multiple times before you commit to adopting. Understand that the shelters are doing their best to place the pets in suitable homes and these requirements are in the best interest of both you and the pet

  5. Meet in person. - Whenever possible it is best to meet the animal in person before agreeing to bring them into your life.
