former stray Silver sizzles with energy, and thrives on running and playing in the yard. Highly intelligent, treat motivated (his favorites are apples, chicken broth ice cubes, and peanut butter filled Kongs) and eager to learn, he knows "sit", "down", "up", "stay", and "heel", has nearly perfected "leave it", and is working on "off". On his list of loves are toys of all kinds, laying his head in his foster mom’s lap, and coming in close for cuddles. Crate, house and nearly leash trained, Silver will do best in an active, experienced adoptive home without other dogs, cats or children to share his "love light."
Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care, enabling us to save more lives!
Adoption fee is $200 and covers microchip, DAPP, Rabies, Heart Worm test and spay/neuter.

Our adoption process is:
1. Fill out our Adoption Application online.
2. We'll contact you to schedule a home visit.
3. If the pet looks like a great match, fill out our Adoption Agreement online (or Foster-to-Adopt Agreement), pay the Adoption Fee, and arrange to pick up your new furry family member!
