boy loves being outside, whether it’s playing in the snow, chasing his toys, playing tag with his fosters, or going for walks. He appreciates lounging in front of the fireplace and has gotten along nicely with all the dogs he's met. Zayd enjoys chewing on bones and taking rides in the car. As affectionate as he is active, Zayd gives his foster mom full-body hugs whenever she sits down, rests his head on her, and rolls over for belly rubs. A great fan of TV, he not only loves shows featuring dogs but “gets invested” in sports, especially tennis! Famous for collecting random items like shoes, he politely leaves them inside his crate until his foster mom takes them out. Motivated by food and toys and learning to accept treats more gently, he currently knows “sit” and “down,” is learning to play bite and jump on people less, and is almost fully house-trained. Now all this zesty black and white beauty needs to fully bloom is a loving home that will perfect his manners, complete his training, including his commands, and keep him mentally and physically satisfied fur-ever. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. If your home sounds like a good match for you and the pet, we will connect you with our dogs' foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a "meet and greet" is set up. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to finalize the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you. The adoption fee for this pet is $425. Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all DAPP boosters after adoption.
