If not, she will try to be alpha and bossy. She would be great as an only dog. Social with cats: NO CATS Good with children: She would probably be fine with older children. Patches is a beautiful hound mix girl who was wandering around and 'found' a caring, compassionate family. Unfortunately they couldn't keep her, but they definitely wanted to make sure she gets into a home with a family who will love her forever, so they called on AAMR for assistance. She is a great girl who is just full of love she wants to share with a new family of her very own. At first Patches was very shy, but she has now decided that being with people is a good thing! She is very playful and wants to stay where she can see her people at all times! She was probably born late 2008 or early 2009 and she is around 55 pounds. She is spayed, microchipped and updated on all her shots. Patches is a great pup and with all her energy and playfulness, she will do best with a very active family who will include her in all their activities! She needs a fenced yard to get plenty of exercise or someone who will take her for LONG walks or runs every day. She's just waiting for the perfect family to find her!
