feeling great, gaining confidence and becoming a puppy supreme. Notes from her foster: She has a very happy if not a bit silly personality. Her goal is to make all things fun. She is very attentive and trainable. She loves treats and toys. Her favorite game is tug, followed by keep away, and she is learning retrieves. She has a high prey drive but is willing to respect the cat's space. Respectful of the older dogs in the house and plays well with her Dutch Shepherd Foster sister. I'd consider her med-high drive. The better she feels the more energy she has which leads to doing more activities each day Good on a leash, crate trained, potty trained, learning basic commands, very much likes to be with people Right now I could see her enjoying agility, obedience, or rally. Something partner oriented where she gets clear directions and fun engagement. She went on a run with us yesterday and she would likely make a good running partner once her stamina increases I've just started some nose games with her. She doesn't seem to have the best nose engagement. Maybe because she was sick for so long. If that kicks in better. I'd like to evaluate her for SAR. Problems we are working on: reactive to dogs especially if she gets barked at. Will chase cars. She does okay when we are passed on the street if it isn't a busy road and I can keep her engaged with me and interrupt the vehicle stare down. Overall, after everything that this amazing girl has been through, we are pretty darn proud of where she is. With the right family, we have no doubt she will be an amazing dog If she seems like your girl, reach out or apply for her at madrescueinc
Hold on to your hats sports fans because this is a glow up you don't want to miss!
Just a few short weeks ago we were hot on the trail on saving Wren, she was euth listed in Texas, suffering from demodex mange, and secondary infections.
A lot of folks believed in this girl and here she is now!! Can you imagine what she will look like when she is 100%?!
Glam Wren is just about a year old and very tiny (but bulking up)! She lives with a kitty and dogs and is loving every minute of her second chance.
In no time this beautiful girl will be ready for her furever home, so make sure you apply for her as soon as you can, this lovely lady won't last long
Wren went to the vet yesterday. This little girl weighed in at only 36 pounds and she is about one year old. Her first bath made chunks of her fur fall out, but even then the beauty shines through
She has been getting medicated baths, love and care for the first time in her life and you know what? She could get used to this whole thing
Wren is on the mend from demodex mange, she has secondary infections from the damage to her skin, and she has the start of a respiratory infection, through it all though this sweet little mamma jamma keeps just being amazing.
Wren wants to say thank you to everyone who sent her goodies on her wishlist, she's never felt so loved She wants to also thank everyone who has supported her medical fundraiser! She is so close to her goal. And more importantly she wants to thank the MAD pack for believing in her.
Glow up on the way!
