Located: in New England Age: 11-13 years young Weight: 9 lbs We recently saved Puchie from a shelter in NY. The owner who brought him there stated that he was 13yo (he does not act like it and I believe he may be younger) and had lived with a 5yo child and two other dogs whom he got along well with. It was stated that he had previously been house trained but started urinating in the house after one of the other dogs in the household passed. Pooch has done very well in foster care and is just the sweetest little guy. He gets along very well with all of the other pups in the home though he does occasionally bark at the birds. Being the smart little guy that he is, he responds well to "settle" and "leave it". He loves to be near his person and will often just cuddle or lay next to you and help keep you warm. Puch loves to play with his squeaky toys and will occasionally play ball with you outside though he doesn’t always bring it back to you;) Puchie is not house trained and will mark in the house as well, though this has lessened over time. He does wear a belly band while in the house due to this and will need some retraining. He also has some hair loss and sensitive ears-possible allergies or poor diet- which will be assessed by the vet.
