We will make every attempt to process all applications within 3 business days of receipt // // Meet Mahalo! Mahalo is a pretty little terrier. She is about a year old and weighs 6 lbs. This tiny little gal just had a litter of puppies was the best little momma! Her babies are all grown up and she is ready to be a pampered little princess. Maholo is very sweet. She likes to be held and be around people. She is good with both adults and children. She gets along fine with other dogs (as long as treats aren't involved). Mahalo appears to be potty trained and she walks well on leash. She is a great size to be held and spend lots of time in your lap. This cuddly little gal can't wait for a FURever family of her own! She is spayed, microchipped and current on her vaccines. Her adoption fee is $250 which helps Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs, vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies. ♥ All of our dogs are in private volunteer foster homes, and as such these individuals are most qualified to answer any questions regarding the dog. We do not have a central shelter or kennel locations - you must make a private one-on-one meet and greet appointment with each individual dog at the foster family's convenience. To protect our foster families' privacy, we must have an APPROVED adoption application on file before we release their contact information. All of our dogs are fixed (spayed/neutered) and up to date on shots. We have a 2 week foster-to-adopt period to make sure the dog is a fit for your family. Adoption fees vary from dog-to-dog. Please note that an approved application DOES NOT guarantee that the dog will be placed with you. The final decision rests with our fosters as they know the dogs the best, and please be aware that there may be other applicants interested in the same dog. Many states have larger populations of adoptable dogs and their shelters are willing to transport pets to suitable adopting families. Some shelters might have requirements for a home visit, a fenced yard or require you to visit the pet multiple times before you commit to adopting. Understand that the shelters are doing their best to place the pets in suitable homes and these requirements are in the best interest of both you and the pet
