nt: https://youtu.be/MqhLjSgxwVk Scrappy is approx. 5 years old, about 45 lbs vetted, neutered, and micro-chipped. Isn't he handsome?? He is good with other dogs and look at those eyes! He always looks like he is smiling :) From his S C foster mom: "He's super social and loves people and dogs. He's house and crate trained, food motivated, but not food possessive. He has medium energy, likes to go for car rides, is crate trained, potty trained, and does not appear to have a prey drive toward smaller animals. Scrappy loves to cuddle up with someone and is a great dog. He's definitely in my top 3 all time foster dogs. He's a good middle of the pack kind of dog so far." Some shelters might have requirements for a home visit, a fenced yard or require you to visit the pet multiple times before you commit to adopting. Understand that the shelters are doing their best to place the pets in suitable homes and these requirements are in the best interest of both you and the pet

  5. Meet in person. - Whenever possible it is best to meet the animal in person before agreeing to bring them into your life.
