I'm adorable, but still quite shy. Although I've had a rough start in life, I'm recovering and ready to give some love and affection to a special family. I have a goofy snaggle tooth from my broken jaw, but that makes me cute and unique. I'm still a little skiddish around people, but am blooming everyday. I am great in my crate and respect being in there and keeping it clean. Winter is kind of cold for me, so leash walking will be a new experience. I go outside quickly to potty....which is still a work in progress. I'm not a big barker, and sleep quietly all night in my crate. Playing with little dogs is fun...but haven't met any kitties yet. I'm just looking for a special family that will love my uniqueness and personality. Many of our dogs are rescued from commercial breeders where they spent their lives getting comfort from their canine friends. In turn, most require another companion dog in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves.
