She *ADORES* other dogs & is seeking a furever home with another active doggie buddy(s) to share her adventures with. Claire is housetrained using a dog door & crate trained too... though she would much prefer a spot in the "big bed" at night. She is good with small critters & humans of all kinds, though a quieter home with school-age (+5 years) or older children would be best. Claire walks well on a leash & is working on some special tricks like "sit & "shake". An adopter that will commit to continued training and perhaps even puppy classes with a trainer would be very beneficial to help her gain confidence & continue on the right path. Dogs are family & we want a human family member to step-up to take your new best friend in the event you are no longer able to care for him/her.... not for the dog to find themselves homeless once again in their declining years. We all know that life happens, so those under the age of 65 are also highly encouraged to think about a back-up plan for your animals BEFORE you potentially find yourself unable to care for them.
