Our job is to find those someone's. Our most successful adopters come to CPR not because they want a dog. They come to us because they want to give a dog a home. No What kind of home would be best for me? Moby is all boy and full of energy. In a pack he can be the more dominant dog (not in an aggressive way), which not all dogs love. He would do well in a home with a more submissive dog or as any only dog. Moby absolutely cannot be in a home with other cats; he will attack them. Owner Experience Level 3: First time dog owner but has lived with a dog as an adult and participated in the dog's care What is my personality like? Meet Moby! Moby is a estimated 3 yr old pomeranian terrier mix. He had a home where he was loved, but things did not work out for Moby, and now he is here at the rescue. Moby is a sweet boy, but very curious. It is hard to get his nose off the ground long enough to give him attention! He likes to sit in your lap for a few minutes and then he is off again to find another adventure. Moby has gotten along well other dogs but other dogs do not typically like him. Moby is all boy and has a dominant (non aggressive) personality not all dogs are okay with, he would do great with a more submissive dog. Moby is not good with cats. He is aggressive toward them and cannot be in a home with them. He walks well on a leash and enjoys being out and about. He would love a home with someone that loved to explore as much as he does! How do I act when I first meet new people? Friendly Other tips and tidbits: Moby will be at the Best Friends Super Adoption Event on December 8th and 9th in Secaucus, NJ. Come out and meet him Saturday, December 8 from 10am – 5pm or Sunday, December 9 from 10am – 3pm. We’ll be at Meadowlands Exposition Center, 355 Plaza Drive, Secaucus, NJ 07094. Please note that Carolina Poodle Rescue reserves the right to change our list of dogs coming to NY in December prior to the event. House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule. Please note - we do not ship dogs. If you are interested in adopting, please take a look at the distance between the foster home location and your location and make sure you are willing to make that trip.
