Zachary has a bad spot on his back, it looks like he has previously been burned. He is using a topical cream and does not show any symptoms of pain. Weight: 11.4 lbs Height: Estimated 11-12" at the shoulder Adoption Fee: $269 Fence needed? No, but Zach does need leash work. What kind of home would be best for me? Zachary would enjoy a family with a few siblings of his own to run and play all day with! What is my personality like? Zachary Shiam was found a stray in a local city of South Carolina. He was found with a scar on his back and horribly matted fur, but he still managed to be in high spirits. Zachary is nothing but positivity with a zeal for life no matter what his past has led him through. The only thing he is missing now is of course, a family to call his own. He does not really like any treats or toys so far and probably does not really remember how to be someone's beloved pet but maybe now he can be blessed enough to learn. If you have a open heart this boy is ready and eager to walk right into your family to stay. How do I act when I first meet new people? A little shy but adjusts quickly. House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule. Most of our dogs are at our farm in Pacolet, South Carolina. You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, color, age, etc. Others here may be a better fit for you. It is very difficult to get to know a living animal from a picture and a short description. Since we are constantly getting in new dogs, this may be a dog not in our listings yet.
