John is the perfect blend of fun and calm, making him a wonderful companion for both adventure and relaxation. He does show guarding of food and can be protective of his people. He would benefit from having a trainer work with him, and crating him is best. Please note that this is a giant WORKING breed dog and is best suited on a large property and in a home with previous experience with these strong working type breeds.
