Looking for a beautiful, fluffy reason to smile every day? Meet Lydia, a Great Pyrenees with a megawatt smile, a tail that wags like it's on a mission, and a signature Pyr Paw (delivered with all the gentle charm of a Victorian lady offering you tea). Think of Lydia as the living embodiment of your favorite Sunday afternoon—warm, relaxed, and filled with good company. She’s not the dog who’ll climb your curtains or chew your shoes—she’s the one who’ll quietly nudge your hand for more pets while giving you that “you’re my person” look. Surrendered alongside her sister Lila by a growing family who adored her but felt overwhelmed with toddlers and a baby on the way, Lydia has proven herself to be nothing short of amazing. Born around February 2024, she’s completely house-trained, leash-savvy (with the occasional “ooh what’s that?” moment), and has just the right amount of playfulness—enough to keep things lively, but not enough to require a helmet. Lydia is more into relaxed fun and will definitely need another easygoing dog friend to hang with. She gets along effortlessly with everyone: big dogs, small dogs, male, female—even the house cat has given her the official feline seal of approval (a slow blink and zero hissing). She’s delightfully food motivated and not above flashing those soulful eyes for an extra treat or two. Or five. Who’s counting? When it’s time to wind down, she’s all about curling up next to you like you’re her favorite book and just soaking up the love. Lydia doesn’t come with any drama—just the essentials: big love, big paws, and a big heart. She’s the kind of dog who will quietly slide into your life and suddenly it will feel like she’s always been there. Adoption fee: $375 (Adoption fee includes spay or neuter, distemper/parvo vaccines, flea preventative, deworming, and health certificate for travel). Adopters pay the cost of transport services outside of Texas area. Transport costs depend on location and company used. Northeast transport fee is $200. The Northwest and Midwest transport fees range from $225-$350. The Southeast transport fees range from $250-$350.
