Her energy level is medium, but she has an off switch loves relaxing in the evening rolling around with her chews and toys. Definitely would love an active family. She is Velcro with her foster but still social with others! Definite prey drive, wants to get anything that moves including leaves blowing in the wind… Does good in crate overnight. Doing great on leash. Doing great in the truck tethered or in crate. Can be left alone in the house if no food or things that can be chewed are present. House broken. Learned sit, down, shake(left and right) out, (to release her toys) load (to get in boat or vehicle) working on stay. Starting with a scent training kit Does great in a boat. What a treasure!! We are an official 501C3 organziation that does not have a physical location. Our home address is in Michigan, however, the majority of our dogs are not located in Michigan. The physical location of each of our dogs is posted with the name of the pet or in the title area. If you are within 4 hours of the pet, please be prepared to pick the pet up. We do provide transport assistance up to 750 miles, however, the applicant must drive 50% of the total distance of the transport in those cases. If the pet of interest is farther than 750 miles, MAD will provide up to 350 miles of transport assistance and the adopter will need to arrange or drive the balance of the distance. All MAD Rescue animals are spayed or neutered. For puppies we do have a $ 250 refundable spay/neuter deposit and require sterilization at the age of 6 months. The rescue will cover the expense of the s/n up to $ 350. All MAD Rescue animals are vaccinated to include Parvo/Distemer combo, Bordatella, and Rabies. Our dogs will be heartworm tested and treated if necessary. MAD Rescue dogs will also have a fecal exam and treated for any parasites. Each adopted MAD Rescue dog will be provided with a FI GPS locator collar and 6 months of service at no additional charge. MAD Rescue provides a one month subscription to Petcademy for every new adoptive parent/family. Adoption fees should be included on each posting. 2024 fees are $ 550 for puppies under 1 year of age, $ 495 for adults over 1 year and up to 7 years old, Seniors are $ 395.
