king who’s way too fabulous for your basic pet expectations. He’s not just a dog; he’s a lifestyle. A vibe. A tiny, judgy icon with ears like satellite dishes and an ego big enough to block out the sun. At first, Ringo may act like you’re beneath him (and let’s be honest, maybe you are), but don’t be fooled—he’s just assessing your vibe from a safe distance. Show a little confidence, prove you're worthy, and BOOM—you’re his ride-or-die. Forever. There’s no escaping the clingy love once you're in the circle of trust. Resistance is futile. Key Features Include: Can fake illness better than a high school sophomore on math test day Throws Oscar-worthy tantrums if it’s raining outside Sunbathes like he invented luxury Believes car rides + 90s hip hop = peak therapy Thinks kids are tiny chaos goblins—hard pass Loves looking fabulous, despises the process of becoming fabulous Nail trims require stealth, cunning, and possibly a mission briefing from the CIA Ringo walks well on a leash but prefers to be carried like the royalty he is. Don’t even think about a stroller—he said arms only, peasant. Brunch dates? Breweries? He’s in—as long as strangers maintain a 6-foot “no touchy” radius. He’s a one-human kinda guy. You’ll be his whole world. Everyone else? Dead to him. He’s not a fan of the paparazzi but dreams of Instagram stardom. You’ll take 643 blurry photos, get 97 death stares, and maybe—maybe—snap one perfect shot of his majesty giving just the right amount of sass. You’ll cry. You’ll cheer. You’ll post it with a Beyoncé quote. At the end of the day, you won’t know why you love him so much… but you will. And he’ll love you back harder than anyone ever has—while judging your life choices from the comfort of a sun patch on the floor. Adopt Ringo. You won’t regret it (but he might). Included in each adoption: age appropriate shots, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery. Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful animals, we ask that you please fill out our online application: form.jotform/223268341300041 We are a 100% volunteer organization and have to work other jobs to pay the bills. Please give us up to 48 hours to respond. Submission of an adoption application does not obligate you to adopt nor does it guarantee approval. We look forward to hearing from you. We are located in Pensacola, Fl. Local applications considered first, but will consider out of state applications if transport can be arranged. Please note all animals in the home must be altered, up to date on vaccines, and be on heartworm prevention. We understand there are some special cases and will take those into consideration.

  1. Do your research - find out what types of dogs would be a good fit for your lifestyle and the activity level of your family. Also keep in mind the grooming needs of certain breeds that might require frequent maintenance.
  2. Decide what you can handle - before you get sucked in by all the adorable puppy eyes you're about to see, think long and hard about the appropriate age dog for your family or if you are capable of caring for a special needs dog. Puppies are a lot of work, if you don't have time for potty training and obedience classes you'll want to consider an older dog. There are plenty of middle aged, vibrant dogs up for adoption as well as many senior dogs that would be a great fit for a family looking for a more subdued dog with lots of love to give.
  3. Learn about the shelters and their adoption policies - It might be easier to start looking at shelters within a certain radius of home but don't be afraid to venture out to other states as well. Many states have larger populations of adoptable dogs and their shelters are willing to transport pets to suitable adopting families. Some shelters might have requirements for a home visit, a fenced yard or require you to visit the pet multiple times before you commit to adopting. Understand that the shelters are doing their best to place the pets in suitable homes and these requirements are in the best interest of both you and the pet
  4. Start looking… - Once you know what you're looking for and what to expect you can start your search through thousands of adoptable dogs. PuppyFinder allows you to search by age, breed, location and gender.
  5. Meet in person. - Whenever possible it is best to meet the animal in person before agreeing to bring them into your life. Even though photos and descriptions can tell you a bit about a dog, you can't get a true feeling for the animal until you are able to interact with them and make sure they are a good fit for your entire family, including other pets.
