ks, and a flair for the dramatic (cue jazz music softly playing in the background).
Domingo is a young pup with a heart as soft as his favorite armadillo toy. He’s seeking an adult-only home with a calm, predictable environment where he can continue to grow in confidence and feel safe. This little guy can have a small threshold when scared, so he’ll thrive with someone patient and dedicated—and someone who understands that building trust takes time (and maybe a few mini tennis balls).
In his foster home, Domingo enjoys the finer things in life like playtime (see here!), enrichment activities, and cuddling in bed with his foster mom when it's all over. He is also used to spending time in his crate overnight, as well as when spending longer periods on his own during the day.
Domingo is working hard on his training, and already knows commands like “down” and “place,” and is mostly housebroken. Car rides can make him a little nervous, but with your encouragement, he’s ready to enjoy some adventures. He’s still a young guy learning how to be a dog in a big, changing world, so he can be a bit jumpy when excited and grabby with things—like shoes. However, with continued redirection and lots of appropriate play and chew outlets, he’s on the path to becoming his best self.
If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion with a goofy streak, and the potential to shine under the right spotlight, Domingo just might be your leading man!
