s placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.
Sancho Panza needs some shares!! He’s had no interest. We pulled him and his brother from a shelter to save them from euthanasia. We placed them at Paws in Prison. When he graduates from Paws in Prison in August, he needs to have an adopter lined up!! Usually our Paws in Prison dogs can go back to their foster homes when they graduate, but Sancho doesn’t have that option! Please share!!!!
From Paws in Prison-
“Sancho, man of many spots. And we get to see those unusually long toes of his. Look at his front feet; that’s where they are. If dogs wore rings, we could probably get him tons of foot modeling jobs. This boy has so much going for him…good looks, great personality and sweet nature. He’s a mix with a bully breed and an English good possibilities. Sancho is 7 months old and weighs 37 pounds. He still has a lot of growing to do, and he’s only going to get more and more handsome!”
Paws in prison is an amazing program where dogs are paired with inmates whom they are with 24/7 for 8 weeks. The inmates work with the dogs everyday on basic training, basic obedience, house training, leash training, etc. and even some tricks! They meet weekly with a certified dog trainer. This is a wonderful program and so beneficial for the dogs and the inmates!
Sancho is a good boy who is very food motivated and eager to learn. He is very friendly and great with other dogs.
He does have some of the typical young pup behaviors like jumping for attention, etc. Paws in Prison is working with him on this.
He is heartworm negative, microchipped, neutered, and UTD on vaccinations.
