Likely (Must Meet First) OWNER EXPERIENCE: Jumbo would do best in a home that will understand his boundaries. Some Experience KIDS: Jumbo doesn't appreciate most handling and will let it be known when he's had enough. He especially dislikes having his paws touched. Due to his independent nature and preferences, he is best suited for a dog owner experienced with positive reinforcement strategies, and he will be best suited for families with kids 15 and older. kids 15+(Must Meet First) ACTIVITY LEVEL: Jumbo is a dog who's unsure about the leash. He will avoid leash walking and may become defensive, growling and biting at the scary leash. Because of this, he needs positive reinforcement training to help with this sill, as well as plenty of mental enrichment to meet all his needs. He loves to sniff around and explore his surroundings as well as just laying around inside on your lap watching tv. Couch Potato VETERINARY CARE: Jumbo is about 10 years old he will need above average veterinary care due to his old age. He has a grade 4 dental disease and mature cataracts. LEVEL OF TRAINING NEEDED: Jumbo will need positive reinforcement training to conintue learning loose-leash skills, as well as help build his confidence, and bond with his guardian. GROOMING: Minimal
