He is not overly playful with toys but enjoys gentle affection. He is not a lap dog exactly, but he does love to be near his person. Once he bonds, he will quietly follow you from room to room just to stay close. He tends to be more comfortable with women but has also done well with calm, patient men. Finley would do best as the only dog in the home, or possibly with one other gentle, low-energy animal companion. He gets overwhelmed by loud or high-energy dogs and environments. He is crate trained, respectful in the home, and has no destructive behaviors when left alone. A fenced yard would be ideal but not required if he is regularly walked.
