te and has slept through the night without a peep. She loves being close to her people, snuggling, and taking naps with her foster.
Paloma enjoys the company of both adults and children and gets along well with dogs her size or bigger. She’s curious about cats but loses interest quickly, making her a good match for homes with feline friends.
This sweet girl loves walks, treats, sniffing adventures, playing in water, soaking up the sun and learning new things — she’s already mastered “sit” in exchange for treats and is eager to keep going. Paloma has been doing wonderfully with potty training, she will let you know in her own way she needs to go outside by doing a slight whine or going to the front door. She is going outside every few hours and will walk herself to the door when she’s ready to come back inside.
She rides well in the car, follows your lead on leash, and is working on not pulling when she gets excited. For such a young puppy, she has an amazing disposition and picks up on routines quickly. With regular exercise, brain games, naps, and structure, she thrives.
If you’re looking for a cuddly, smart and playful companion to join your family, Paloma might be the one!

Our dogs come from various situations, such as kill shelters, owner surrenders, or as strays. It is likely both parents were mixed breeds as well.
Sandy Paws Rescue does not have a public shelter in Massachusetts. Our dogs reside in private foster homes or boarding kennels in the South until adopted. Many dogs are spoken for prior to transport or release from state-mandated isolation.
