But give me just a little time (and maybe a few fancy treats), and I’ll be asking to curl up right in your lap, though sometimes my asking is a little demanding. Yep, I’m one of those dogs, the professional snugglers who believe laps are the best real estate in the house. I’m potty-trained and know how to use the doggie door. No messes, no accidents, just a classy lady with manners! Speaking of classy, I’ll admit I’m a bit of a picky eater. Milk bones? Meh. But bring out the gourmet goodies, chicken jerky, freeze-dried liver, beef chewy treats, and I’m all ears (and tail wags). At night, I love to cuddle in the big bed, tucked in close where it’s warm and safe. Dog beds are fine, I guess... but let’s be real, there’s nothing better than being close to my human. I’m still figuring out some things, like dog ramps. Those things make me a little nervous. But I’m curious and brave in my own quiet way. I really do want to play with my foster siblings, and sometimes I’ll even do a little play-dance to let them know I’m ready. I just take things at my own pace. My first owner said I am good with cats and kids too! So if you’re patient, loving, and maybe a little spoiled yourself (no judgment — same here), I think we’d be the perfect match.
