lost his longtime companion, Chico, Oso’s heart is still full of love and his tail never stops wagging. He is a joyful, playful dog with a personality that lights up any room. He has the energy of a perpetual pup, ready to zoom through the yard, chase a ball, or share endless cuddles with his favorite humans.
Oso is incredibly affectionate and gentle. He loves his people and thrives on companionship, always eager to be near you, whether it’s for a walk, a snuggle, or a bit of play. He gets along well with female dogs, and while he can be selective with male dogs, slow introductions can work with the right match. Oso’s perfect home would have dog-savvy kids who understand the balance between fun and respect, and while he hasn’t been fully introduced to cats, his friendly and curious nature makes us hopeful.
Oso enjoys wide-open spaces to run and play, and he’s particularly fond of water. He’s smart, affectionate, and full of life, but he also knows how to relax, curling up next to you after a day of activity. House-trained, crate-trained, and ready for car rides, Oso adapts well to daily life but thrives in a home that keeps him engaged both physically and mentally.
After three long years waiting for someone to give him a chance, Oso is ready to be your partner in adventure, your couch-side snuggler, and your loyal friend for all the days to come. He’s looking for a home where he can be cherished, loved, and celebrated for the sweet, exuberant dog he is.
