ry little socialization — she’s learning how to enjoy the world one safe step at a time. Ro is house-trained, crate-trained, and very quiet. She did well in her new foster home from the minute moment she arrived and has blossomed into a playful, cuddly little girl. Once Ro settles in, she becomes a loyal little shadow, curling up in your lap and sleeping all night by your side! New people, loud noises, and sudden movements can overwhelm her, so a calm home is a must. Her foster family recommends slow introductions to other dogs, and because she doesn't have much experience with cats, a proper introduction will be needed there too. She cannot live in a home with children. She prefers short walks and especially loves lounging in soft grass while watching the world go by. She has the cutest skip when going on walks as soon as you can get her up from laying in the grass! She LOVES being in soft grass and checking out the neighborhood. Otherwise, her favorite toys are a knotted rope and anything with a squeaker. She does best with one-on-one attention and would thrive with someone who’s home often. She may need anxiety meds for stressful situations like vet visits or grooming, but day-to-day life is all about snuggles, squeaky toys, and quiet companionship. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 150-mile radius of the Twin Cities. However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.
