ly discovered that Brooks is completely deaf—but that hasn’t slowed him down one bit. In fact, we are in awe of him every single day. It’s clear that someone invested a lot of love and time into training him. Brooks is one of the most well-behaved, gentle, and obedient dogs we've ever met. He's potty trained, crate trained, leash trained, and rides like a pro in the car. He checks in with you often when outside, always making sure you’re okay and assuring he's not needed to go in. He greets everyone by sitting politely—his way of saying, “Hi, I’m a gentleman!” Brooks is super friendly, great with kids, and gets along beautifully with all dogs big & small. Despite being deaf, Brooks is incredibly in tune with people. He thrives on connection, trust, and routine. He’s calm, affectionate, and incredibly easy to fall in love with. We truly can't understand how anyone didn’t come looking for him. Brooks is pure love wrapped in fur—ready to be your loyal companion and constant best friend. Brooks needs a home with NO Alpha dominant dogs due to being deaf and not able to hear warnings from others. He is currently with 8 Chihuahuas and does wonderful with them and no one is an Alpha here. He needs a family he can love and cherish where he can relax knowing everyone understands his deafness. Brooks has had 1 vet visit, is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated - DHPP x 2, Rabies, & Bordetella x 2. He’s had a 4 DX test (testing for Lyme disease and two types of tick-borne illnesses), flea/tick/heartworm prevention (Nexgard Plus), two dewormings, and 1 fecal test. Adopters will receive all original paperwork, a 14-day health guarantee, a collar, harness, leash, seatbelt lock, and a week's worth of food.
