Princess – Sweet Senior Pit Bull Looking for Her Fairy Tale Ending Meet Princess, a 10-year-old golden Pit Bull with a heart as big as her name. Weighing in at 50 pounds, this gentle girl is the perfect mix of calm, affectionate, and easygoing. Princess is mostly house-trained, crate-trained (though she no longer needs one), and walks nicely on leash. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs of all sizes but isn’t one to seek out play — she’s more of a quiet companion who enjoys simply being near her people. Princess may be mostly deaf, and her back legs don’t work as well as they used to, so she moves at a slower pace. But don’t let that fool you — she still enjoys short walks and absolutely loves being outside with her humans. She’s low-energy and content to spend her days lounging by your side, making her a perfect movie buddy or office companion. She’s not interested in toys, but she’s always happy to accept a treat and a little love. Her favorite place is wherever you are. Princess would do best in a quiet, low-activity home where she can be showered with love and patience. Whether she’s your one and only or joins a pack of mellow pups, she’ll fit in just fine — she’s a go-with-the-flow kind of girl who just wants to be near her people. If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you. The adoption fee for this pet is $100. Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog.
