ley Okay, maybe those aren't the exact lyrics of the song, but they could be. Bentley is the bestest boy and an even better friend. Unfortunately, his previous owners didn't value his friendship and used him as a breeding dog in a backyard breeding operation. He spent years in a cage with his fur matted, wondering why his humans didn't give him the love he so desperately craved. After 5 years, they decided they wanted to switch to a different breed, so Bentley wasn't needed anymore, and they surrendered him. Their loss is your gain because despite not getting the love he deserved, Bentley has flourished into an amazing dog. He is friendly with dogs and people, housebroken, and he already knows 'sit' and 'paw'! He is about 5 years old and 40 pounds, so he is the perfect age and size - he is out of the crazy puppy years, but still loves to go on adventures! However, his favorite thing to do is snuggle with his humans, and we are happy to oblige - we want to make up for all the attention he has never got before. If you are interested in meeting this volunteer favorite, please submit an application on our website! All pets adopted from GDHS are spayed or neutered, have vaccinations brought up to date, are on heartworm preventative (dogs), FIV/FELV tested (cats) and microchipped. The Greater Derry Humane Society does not have a physical shelter, and all visits are by appointment only.
