Hi, I’m Jett—yes, like the thing that zooms through the sky, which feels appropriate because I’m the kind of puppy who can turn a simple hallway stroll into a full runway moment. I love zipping around with my favorite toys, and I’m the kind of puppy who thinks every squeaky toy deserves a standing ovation. I was born around June 2025, and I'm playful enough to keep your toy basket in constant rotation, and smart enough to figure out your routine before you’ve had your morning coffee. But when the zoomies are over, I’m a sweet cuddler who will happily curl up and remind you that life is better with a puppy snoring by your side. I’m very sweet, very loving, and extremely affectionate, which basically means I’ll follow you around with my cute little smile until you're convinced that belly rubs are the most important job you’ll ever have. I do need the usual puppy training to learn my manners, but here’s the good news: I love food. Like, really love food. Which means I’m ready to learn every good-boy skill in the handbook as long as the treat-to-effort ratio is correct. I'm a confident little guy who's been part of a pack since birth, so a home with other dogs feels like the natural order of the universe to me. If you’re looking for a loving, fun, clever boy who wants to be part of every adventure (and every snack break), I’m your Jett—ready for takeoff straight into your heart.
Jett will need obedience training as he gets older and mature. There is a lot for a puppy to learn and like all small puppies, he will need someone who can be home with him a lot and provide him with love, patience and boundaries to help him become a loyal companion. He loves the companionship of other animals and requires another dog in the home to act as his mentor as he continues to understand the rules of his new world.
ADOPT HERE: Complete an Adoption Application for your Pyr-fect new family companion at gprs.rescuegroups/forms/form?formid=6206.
PUPPIES ARE ONLY PLACED IN HOMES WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL RESIDENT DOGS WHO ARE AT LEAST 50 POUNDS.
Our requirements for puppy adoptions are simple and necessary.
Our puppies are not livestock guardians, they are family pets that live inside of the family home. Puppies must be placed in homes with a youthful, adult resident dog of similar size. This gives the puppy a mentor and a solid foundation for becoming part of the family. Puppies are only adopted to homes with someone at home at least part of the day. If no one is home for 6-8 hours at a time, please do not apply. Preference is always given to those with Great Pyrenees experience. Applicants must have secure, visible fencing and a socialization plan in place. The fastest way to be considered for a puppy is to fill out an application. Adoption is not first come, first served. GPRS and its fosters work diligently to find the right fit for each and every unique dog and puppy. Applicant’s personal pets must be current on vaccines & heartworm/flea prevention and be altered. Adoption fee: $450 (Adoption fee includes spay or neuter, distemper/parvo vaccines, flea preventative, deworming, and health certificate for travel). Adopters pay the cost of transport services outside of Texas area. Transport costs depend on location and company used. Northeast transport fee is $200. The Northwest and Midwest transport fees range from $225-$350. The Southeast transport fees range from $250-$350.
