A note to those looking at CPR. We have no perfect dogs - but many of our dogs have proven to be perfect for a certain someone. Our job is to find those someone's. Our most successful adopters come to CPR not because they want a dog. They come to us because they want to give a dog a home. We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture. While we like to know what you like in looks, a dog is more than a pretty face. Our goal is to match you with the best possible pet for you and your home. We want to create furever families.

Special Needs? Callie is spayed, up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative. Callie's background is a mystery. She is a doodle of some variety. We cannot guarantee that she is hypoallergenic or that she won't shed.

What kind of home would be best for me? This girl thrives on excitement and is looking for a home that’s ready to embrace her zest for adventure. If you love a little chaos and a lot of love, Callie might be your perfect match! She adores an active, bustling environment where there’s plenty to do and plenty of people (or dogs!) to love on. She’s great with other dogs of similar size and energy, so a playful canine sibling would be an amazing bonus — though not a strict requirement as long as you can keep up with her enthusiasm.
What is my personality like? Meet Callie – Your Adventure Buddy with a Big Heart! Callie is everything you’d expect from a doodle — joyful, loving, and full of life! Callie’s motto - the louder, the better! Playtime is her absolute favorite, and a big open space where she can run and romp is her happy place.
Cali's background is a mystery. The story we were told is that she was listed as free to a good home and a caring citizen took her in to keep her safe. That individual then reached out for rescue support as they "never intended to keep her".
As a young doodle, Callie still needs guidance in the basics: leash skills, polite greetings, and household manners. She’s such a loving soul that she often tries to give “hugs” — sweet, but something her new family can easily redirect with consistent training. She’s eager to please and quick to learn, so with some patience and structure, she’ll be a superstar in no time.
Callie loves adventure and is always ready to go wherever you are — hiking, running, or just exploring the world together. She’s affectionate, fun-loving, and endlessly sweet, making her the perfect companion for an active family that’s home often and wants a dog who will join in on all the fun.
If your life could use a little more love, laughter, and adventure, Callie is ready to jump in with all four paws!
How do I act when I first meet new people? Callie happily and enthusiastically greets new people. If you're ready to adventure, she's ready to go!
Other tips and tidbits: Callie was found as a stray so we have absolutely no history on her. She was estimated at 1 year old by the shelter. We celebrate her birthday 08/08/2024.
House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.
Please note - we do not ship dogs. If you are interested in adopting, please take a look at the distance between the foster home location and your location and make sure you are willing to make that trip. Most of our dogs are at our farm in Pacolet, South Carolina.

Please note that when screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home. You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, color, age, etc. Others here may be a better fit for you. It is very difficult to get to know a living animal from a picture and a short description. Since we are constantly getting in new dogs, this may be a dog not in our listings yet. We want you to be very happy with your new companion and will make suggestions based on what you tell us about you.
