mp;rdquo; After a rough start in life, he’s finally healing — physically and emotionally — and ready to find a home that won’t let him down.
This sweet boy is all about being close to his people. He’s a snuggly shadow who wants to be where you are, whether it’s curled up at your feet or trotting next to you on walks. (And speaking of walks — Pablo loves them. But he’ll need someone ready to work with his strong prey drive. Squirrels and bunnies, beware.)
He’s currently living with another dog and doing great — respectful, playful, and happy to share space. He isn’t a fan of the crate, though. He tolerated it briefly, but after a few days made it clear it’s just not for him. He’s been completely trustworthy left loose in the house, as long as tempting items are put away and certain doors are kept shut. At night, he sleeps calmly on a dog bed in the room with you — he might sneak over to say hi, but one gentle reminder sends him right back.
Pablo does have a unique gait — more of a bunny hop than a trot — due to orthopedic issues he arrived with. He recently underwent surgery and is recovering beautifully. He may always move a little differently, but it doesn’t slow him down or stop him from loving life.
Because of his past, Pablo needs a home without small children. He thrives with calm, confident leadership and would do best with someone who understands structure, empathy, and the value of second chances.
After everything he’s been through, Pablo still believes in people. And we believe in him.
Let’s make this time the right one.
