ve and treat her like the little princess she is. We saved her from a California shelter, and not uncommon with seniors we save she needed a dental urgently. Now that she's feeling much better she's a happy happy energetic spunky lil girl. Poppy is confident around dogs, but doesn't prefer to live with any. She'd truly prefer to be the center of someone's world as all she wants is to be pet and cuddled. She loves all people she meets, and her tail wags so fast! Poppy has a big appetite for a tiny little girl, so her family will need to monitor her portions so she doesn't get too overweight that can impact her tiny joints. She does fine being left alone for a little bit, and will burrow under a cozy blanket for a nap. She is house trained, and her favorite thing is being pet. Lots of pets and belly rubs, and she'll nudge your hand to make sure you don't forget! Poppy enjoys playing with toys, and going for the occasional jaunt around the block. She rides well in the car as a little passenger princess. Underdogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. Adoption fee is $375. She is being fostered in SE Portland. You MUST have an Underdogs Rock Rescue application on file to request a meet with an Underdog. An online Underdogs Rock adoption application can only be accessed at underdogsrock/adopt-a-dog . You must be available to meet an Underdog in their foster's location or host a meet and greet in your home. Our dogs are not held for applicants or shipped outside of the Portland metro area. Home checks are also part of the process and can be conducted virtually if necessary. Understand that the shelters are doing their best to place the pets in suitable homes and these requirements are in the best interest of both you and the pet
