gy and looking for his perfect match. He loves playing fetch, chewing bones, going on hikes in the woods, and doing anything that keeps him busy and engaged. Kobe is fully housebroken, crate-trained, and quiet in his crate overnight or when left home alone. He currently lives with a small dog and cats in his foster home. He’s respectful with them, but really wishes they would play with him! While Kobe is wonderful with people and hasn’t met a stranger he didn’t like, his playful, mouthy nature means he isn’t a good fit for a home with small children.
This smart boy already knows sit, shake, leave it, and wait, and he walks well on leash with a harness or training collar. Without one, he can be a puller, so he’s still learning loose leash walking and heeling. Like many young Dobermans, Kobe has typical prey drive and will bark at squirrels, rabbits, and birds in the yard or on walks, but he responds well to correction. He would thrive in a home with structure, consistency, and maybe even another dog his size to play with.
Kobe is an affectionate, eager-to-please pup who would love an active home ready to continue his training and channel his energy into fun. Whether it’s hiking, obedience, agility, or even barn hunt, he is ready to be someone’s loyal partner and adventure buddy. With continued guidance and love, Kobe is going to grow into an incredible companion.
