ally in the life of your new canine companion.
A note to those looking at CPR. We have no perfect dogs - but many of our dogs have proven to be perfect for a certain someone. Our job is to find those someone's. Our most successful adopters come to CPR not because they want a dog. They come to us because they want to give a dog a home. We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture. While we like to know what you like in looks, a dog is more than a pretty face. Our goal is to match you with the best possible pet for you and your home. We want to create furever families.
Our descriptions contain all that we know about this dog today. We'll update as more information is known.
Are you looking to adopt within the next 30 days? If so please visit our webpage at .carolinapoodlerescue and complete the application. You'll find it in the menu on the left hand side. You'll also find a total listing of all our dogs available.
Just browsing but interested in poodles and poodle mixes? Please drop a note to applicationscarolinapoodlerescue with your name, address and phone # and email. We'll add you to our mailing list.
thanks

Special Needs? Marina is spayed, up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative. On 07/02/25 she had a dental with extractions. Our veterinarian has noted that Marina has a grade 2 luxating patella on her right knee. She is a happy, active dog. We have elected not to repair her knee. Her forever family may want or need to make this choice in the future and will assume full responsibility for this.
Weight: 5 lbs
Height: 11 in
Spayed/Neutered: Yes
Adoption Fee: $399
Fence needed? No
What kind of home would be best for me? Marina loves other dogs and enjoys their company. She’d do wonderfully with a dog companion in the home, but what she really craves is connection and guidance—someone to teach her the rhythm of life as a beloved pet. You see, Marina is still learning what it means to be a house dog. Leashes - Strange. Rules and routines - A little confusing. She’s never truly been shown how to “house pet,” and she’s looking for someone who will meet her with patience, kindness, and a soft hand. With consistency and love, she’ll blossom into the perfect little companion—she’s already halfway there.
Marina is the full package: sweet, strong, silly, and so ready to find her person. She’ll thrive in a calm, loving home with someone who can guide her gently through this big, exciting world and show her what it means to be part of a family.
What is my personality like? Meet Marina – A Tiny Ray of Sunshine with a Heart Full of Joy
Don’t let her size fool you—Marina, a dainty little toy poodle, has a smile as big as the sun and a spirit that could brighten even the stormiest day. One look into her eyes and you’ll feel it: this girl is pure love wrapped in curls and light.
Marina adores people. Human affection is her greatest joy—second only to being scooped into your arms and carried like the royalty she knows she is. She’ll melt into your shoulder, give soft little sighs of contentment, and look up at you like you hung the moon. Because to her, you will.
She has a gentle and loving spirit, but don’t underestimate her—this tiny girl is full of determination. Despite the world around her shifting and changing, she remains steady and strong. She’s handled everything with grace and smiling confidence, meeting new experiences with wide eyes and a brave little heart.
While Marina would love to be held all day long (seriously—she’d be carried in a baby sling if you’d let her), she also has an adventurous streak. She wants to see the world, go places, and be included in life’s everyday moments. She may be small, but her curiosity is huge, and her confidence grows stronger every day.
If you’re looking for sunshine in a small, curly-bodied bundle, Marina is waiting—with her whole heart and a smile that could light up your life.
How do I act when I first meet new people? Marina is a sweetheart. She will waltz into the room to steal your lap and your heart.
Other tips and tidbits: Marina is estimated at 4 years old. We celebrate her birthday 06/05/2021.
House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.
Please note - we do not ship dogs. If you are interested in adopting, please take a look at the distance between the foster home location and your location and make sure you are willing to make that trip. Most of our dogs are at our farm in Pacolet, South Carolina.
To apply, please visit our webpage at .carolinapoodlerescue and visit the tab on the left that directions you to the online application.
Please note that when screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home. You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, color, age, etc. Others here may be a better fit for you. It is very difficult to get to know a living animal from a picture and a short description. Since we are constantly getting in new dogs, this may be a dog not in our listings yet. We want you to be very happy with your new companion and will make suggestions based on what you tell us about you.
Thank you for considering CPR.
