This adorable 5-month-old Border Collie mix is the full package — smart, loving, and ready to find his forever family! Pinto Bean is already kennel and potty trained, showing just how quick and eager he is to learn. Like many young pups, he can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but once he realizes you’re a friend, his tail starts wagging and his sweet, affectionate side shines through. He’s the kind of pup who bonds deeply and loves to be near his people. When it comes to other dogs, Pinto Bean does best with slow introductions, as he can be a little nervous at first. But once he feels safe, his curiosity and playful spirit start to come out — you’ll see him trying to make new buddies in no time! True to his Border Collie roots, Pinto Bean is a very smart boy who will thrive with mental stimulation, training, and love. He enjoys playtime, learning new things, and of course, his favorite — belly rubs! If you’re looking for a bright, loyal companion who will blossom with patience and kindness, Pinto Bean will reward you with endless love and devotion. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption. The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care.
