d, like she’s been dusted in pumpkin spice. On the petite side for a husky, she’s the perfect size for smaller homes, and her low-to-medium energy level makes her a dream for families looking for a well-balanced, easygoing companion. Donna is a total sweetheart who loves her people most of all - she’s happy to hang with polite pups but really shines when she’s close to her people, curled up at your feet or leaning in for affection. She’s already great on leash, knows commands like sit, shake, and lay down, and is super praise- and treat-motivated (and gentle about it, too!). With a little love and encouragement, she’s ready to be the star student in any home. Donna’s the full package - affectionate, polite, and oh-so-easy to love. Come take home this darling girl today!
-5 year old red Siberian Husky mix
-55 pound spayed female
-may need the standard round of shots and preventatives before you can take her home, but the shelter can likely help with this!
-came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 9/25/25 as a stray
-uniquely stunning cream coat frosted in rich rust red, like she's been sprinkled with a hefty dusting of cinnamon
-plush and cuddly, and on the petite end for a husky, so perfect for even smaller homes
-perfect temperament too - low to medium energy level, especially for a husky, but still lively and all around well trained
-great on leash, listens attentively to her people, super praise motivated, and excitable but polite around other dogs - but ultimately seems to prefer the company of people to other pups
-very warm and affectionate, and is especially fond of leaning against you when she can, or sits close by at your feet
-already knows sit, shake, and lay down, but could easily learn more - loves treats and takes them gently, so with some encouraging words and a little investment, she could really excel at advanced training; perfect family dog!
