adorable underbite and the poutiest bottom lip you’ve ever seen. Rufus is the perfect mix of curious explorer and chill cuddle buddy: he’s always down for a walk, hike, or jog, but equally happy to flop on the couch for some post-adventure snuggles. Still young and full of life, he’s looking for a calm home where he can thrive - with or without mellow dog siblings. Rufus has so much love (and lip!) to give, and he's ready to be your best buddy for every walk, nap, and everything in between.
-2 year old tan and white Pug mix
-49 pound neutered male
-up to date on all shots and preventatives, so ready to go home with you today! However, he may have a little case of the itchies, perhaps from an allergy - he’s been treated, but will need to be adopted on a health waiver, adopter to follow up with own vet for further diagnostics and potential treatment
-came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 8/31/25 as a stray
-the most adorable little pocket bully mix, with a beautiful golden coat, a super cute underbite, and the plumpest, poutiest bottom lip that will instantly steal your heart!
-still a young pup, Rufus has a bright and curious nature, always interested in the sights, sounds, and sniffs around him - he would love to tag along on long walks, fun runs, or exciting hikes
-while he's always down for an adventure, he's also super chill and laid back, ready to curl up for some cuddles or netflix and chill (especially after he's gotten some energy burned off!)
-this sweet boy would do well in a wide range of households, including with or without some mellow pup siblings, but he's best suited to a calm home or family
