a yummy summer berry, he’s anything but bite-sized. This handsome hunk is a gentle, shy soul who loves cuddles, sloppy kisses, and being close to his people, even if he’s still learning to come out of his shell. He was surrendered for being a bit of an escape artist, but with the appropriate supervision and secure setup, it’s an easy fix for a loving, loyal companion. Blueberry does well with calm dogs but would really shine as your one-and-only or with slow intros to the right pup sibling. Because of his size and strength, he’s best suited for an adults-only home - he’s all love, just a little too big for little ones! Come scoop up this big ole hunk of love and you’ll be richly rewarded with all the loving from the bestest boy!
-1.5 year old grey and white Pitbull
-82 pound neutered male
-may need the standard round of shots and preventatives before he can go home with you, but the shelter can likely help with this!
-came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 9/24/25 as an owner surrender, due to some escape artist antics - but with a few careful measures and the appropriate supervision, you can easily address this issue!
-don't let his name fool you - while he's just as sweet as his name suggests, he's certainly not petite!
-this big handsome boy is 82 pounds of sloppy kisses and enthusiastic loving, ready to curl up or press close, soaking up all your affection and returning it tenfold
-despite his size, Blueberry is shy and sweet, just a soft boy deep down
-at the shelter, Blueberry has been a bit timid, tail tucked, but has shown gentle curiosity about other dogs - especially calm ones
-although he would really shine as an only pup, he could also make a wonderful pet sibling with the right introductions
-due to his strength and size, he is recommended for adults only - there's not a mean bone in his body, far from it, but he could inadvertently knock over a kiddo in his enthusiasm
