fter litter of puppies, but those days are behind me now. I’m learning what it means to just be me — a dog who deserves love, comfort, and a place to feel safe.
I really want to be petted, and I think I’ll love it once I’m a little braver. Right now, I can still be a bit shy and nervous, but I’m making progress every day with my foster family. I’m working on house training — it’s going well so far! I never have accidents in my kennel, and I go there to eat, sleep, or when my foster family leaves the house. It’s my little safe space.
I live with other dogs, some cats, and older kids (the youngest is 12), and I get along with everyone. I haven’t been around really little kids, so I’m not quite sure how I’d feel about that. But if they understand that I need gentle voices and slow movements, I think we could be great friends.
Sometimes, for fun, I bark at the cats while I’m in my kennel — hey, a girl’s gotta have a hobby, right?
I’m still figuring out this whole leash thing, but I am learning it means I can go on walks! For now, I’ve got a big yard to run and play in, and I love that. I’m also a pro at stairs — no issues there!
Car rides? I ride in a kennel and just lay there quietly, enjoying the trip.
Even though I’m 7, I still love to play with the other dogs and explore the house, but I also know how to relax and enjoy some downtime. I’m still learning how to “dog,” but with patience, love, and a kind heart, I know I can grow into the sweet, loving companion I was always meant to be.
Could you be the one to help me write the next chapter of my life?
