e for SAMSON. Please visit aarf-tn/adopt/adoption-app/ to apply.
Meet Samson, a handsome 9-year-old, 85lb German Shepherd with a big heart, a playful spirit, and an endless love for his favorite toy — his jumbler ball! This sweet boy may be entering his golden years, but don’t let that fool you — he still has plenty of pep in his step and enjoys running around outside, chasing his beloved ball, and soaking up the sunshine. Give it a toss, and you’ll hear his happy “squeak, squeak, squeak” of excitement as he proudly carries it around. Samson’s ball is truly his pacifier, and it’s one of the many things that make him such a charming and endearing companion.
When the playtime is done, Samson is a calm and content guy who enjoys lounging nearby and keeping you company. He’s affectionate and loyal — the kind of dog who bonds deeply with his people and finds joy in simple moments together. He’s also very well-behaved, rides nicely in the car, and walks well on a leash, though he might give a little pull when he’s excited.
Samson would thrive in a peaceful, lower-traffic home with adults who appreciate the quiet companionship of a devoted dog. A fenced yard where he can safely play with his toys would be his dream come true. Because he prefers to be the only pet, Samson’s perfect match would be someone looking for a one-on-one bond with a loving, loyal best friend.
With his gentle soul, playful nature, and loyal heart, Samson is ready to bring warmth, joy, and a few squeaky-ball symphonies to his forever home.
