Danny #4 | 11-week-old Dachshund | Tiny Pup with a Big Personality Meet Danny, an adorable 11-week-old Dachshund with a playful spirit and a love for cuddles. At just 4.4 pounds, this tiny pup is full of energy and curiosity, always ready to explore, play, and snuggle with his humans. Danny is learning house training and signals when he needs to go outside by standing by the door, though sometimes puppy play gets the best of him! Danny loves spending time with other dogs, especially his foster brother and the household’s larger pups, and he thrives on interactive play. He’s food motivated, quick to learn commands like “come” and “no,” and responds well to guidance and redirection, especially when it comes to play biting. After a good session of running and playing, Danny is content to nap or curl up under the covers for some cozy rest. This easygoing little guy enjoys toys, chewing bones, and even car rides. He’s happiest in a home where he has a canine companion and plenty of supervised space to run and explore. Danny also loves snuggling on laps and at your feet in bed, making him a perfect buddy for someone who works from home or an older adopter looking for a devoted companion. Born in a shelter in Oklahoma, Danny is ready to find his forever family and show off his playful, affectionate, and loving personality every single day. If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you. The adoption fee for this pet is $450 (includes a $50 refundable puppy training deposit). Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog.
