es in your life and especially in the life of your new canine companion.
A note to those looking at CPR. We have no perfect dogs - but many of our dogs have proven to be perfect for a certain someone. Our job is to find those someone's. Our most successful adopters come to CPR not because they want a dog. They come to us because they want to give a dog a home. We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture. While we like to know what you like in looks, a dog is more than a pretty face. Our goal is to match you with the best possible pet for you and your home. We want to create furever families.
Our descriptions contain all that we know about this dog today. We'll update as more information is known.
Are you looking to adopt within the next 30 days? If so please visit our webpage at .carolinapoodlerescue and complete the application. You'll find it in the menu on the left hand side. You'll also find a total listing of all our dogs available.

Date into Rescue: 11/02/2025
Reason for being in rescue: Izzy was surrendered by her owners to a rural SC shelter.
Foster location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet SC
Special Needs? Izzy is spayed, up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative. On 11/05/25 Izzy had a cyst removed from her rear. We have no history on Izzy before she arrived in rescue. She is a doodle. We will not guarantee that she is hypoallergenic or that she won't shed.
Weight: 39 lbs - Izzy is underweight and needs to gain at least 5 pounds
Height: 24 in
Spayed/Neutered: Yes
Adoption Fee: $699
Fence needed? Yes, Izzy requires a physically fenced yard with fencing 4 feet or taller.
What kind of home would be best for me? Izzy would be happiest in a home where she can play to her heart’s content. Daily adventures, dog park visits, doggy daycare, or simply another playful pup in the home would be perfect for her. She loves to socialize and would do wonderfully with older children who can keep up with her fun-loving, energetic lifestyle. Izzy’s ideal day includes plenty of activity followed by cuddles and affection from her favorite humans—she’s as sweet as she is spirited.
What is my personality like? Izzy is a bright, bubbly young doodle with a heart full of joy and a spirit that just won’t quit. Like many young dogs, she’s bursting with energy and always ready to go, go, go! Whether it’s running full speed across the yard, chasing after a ball, or romping with her dog friends, Izzy throws herself into life with excitement and enthusiasm. She loves to be the center of attention and thrives when she’s surrounded by people or pups who can match her lively personality.
Surrendered to the animal shelter due to a financial change in her previous home, much of Izzy’s history remains a mystery. Her story was short and to the point, but what she lacks in background, she makes up for in heart. We do know that Izzy has already learned some basics—she knows “sit” and walks fairly well on a leash. With a bit of refresher training and continued consistency, she’ll pick up new skills quickly. She’s smart, eager to please, and loves being part of the action.
Izzy will thrive with a family who understands that young dogs need both play and structure. She’s ready to grow, learn, and become the incredible companion she’s meant to be. With love, patience, and plenty of room to run, Izzy will reward her new family with endless laughter, loyalty, and love—one joyful zoomie at a time.
How do I act when I first meet new people? Izzy is a happy, active, friendly girl who loves making new friends!
Other tips and tidbits: We have no history on Izzy pre rescue. The shelter estimated her at 3 years old. Our veterinarian re-aged her at 5 years old based on her overall health and condition. We celebrate her birthday 11/02/2020.
House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.
Please note - we do not ship dogs. If you are interested in adopting, please take a look at the distance between the foster home location and your location and make sure you are willing to make that trip. Most of our dogs are at our farm in Pacolet, South Carolina.
To apply, please visit our webpage at .carolinapoodlerescue and visit the tab on the left that directions you to the online application.
Please note that when screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home. You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, color, age, etc. Others here may be a better fit for you. It is very difficult to get to know a living animal from a picture and a short description. Since we are constantly getting in new dogs, this may be a dog not in our listings yet. We want you to be very happy with your new companion and will make suggestions based on what you tell us about you.
Thank you for considering CPR.
