’s as beautiful as she is complex. She can be very suspicious of unfamiliar people and will need a calm, patient, and dog-savvy adopter who understands how to build trust slowly and gently. Crimson still shows some behaviors that reflect her uncertain past and can act a bit like a feral dog at times—she’s cautious, easily startled, and unsure how to respond to new people or environments. But once she decides you’re one of “her people,” her loyalty and affection shine through. She absolutely adores those she trusts. She is a flight risk and will require a securely fenced yard. Crimson is crate-trained and house-trained, and she gets along wonderfully with other dogs and even cats. She will thrive in a secure environment with a fenced yard and a patient human who understands her need for a little extra time to adjust. Crimson is searching for a special person who will give her the patience, stability, and love she needs to feel secure.
