As a result, he has developed some fear-based reactivity and stranger danger. New people can be overwhelming for him, and he isn't the type of dog who will instantly greet every stranger with a wagging tail. Atticus needs time to feel safe and build trust. The good news? Once you're in, you're in for life. With a visit or two and a little patience, Atticus begins to show the dog we know and love. Behind his cautious exterior is a deeply devoted companion who forms strong bonds with his people and loves them wholeheartedly.
