Jade hasn’t had the easiest start in life, and because of that, some things can still scare her. Men make her nervous, but she is not aggressive—she’ll simply tuck her tail and quietly find a place to hide. Loud noises can startle her, and even a TV (yes, even when it’s off!) can be spooky. With patience, kindness, and understanding, Jade continues to grow braver every day, though some of these fears may always be part of her story.
Dog-Friendly (with the right match!)
Jade does well with other dogs after slow, proper introductions. She is an alpha female, so she prefers male dog companions and will not do well with another dominant female. She also enjoys small dog groups—too many dogs at once can be overwhelming for her.
‍ Active but Chill – The Best of Both Worlds!
Jade loves her exercise! Walks and jogs make her happy-happy, and she currently enjoys 4-mile jogs a few days a week. While she’s not a hardcore toy fanatic, she’ll happily fetch a ball or play with a favorite toy for about 15 minutes. And water lovers, rejoice—sprinklers and hose spray are her JAM!
Professional Cuddler & Nap Queen
Despite her athletic side, Jade is wonderfully laid back. She’s just as content curling up for a cuddle or enjoying a peaceful nap as she is heading out for a run.

We are an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location. Our home address is in Michigan, however, the majority of our dogs are not located in Michigan. The physical location of each our our dogs is posted with the name of the pet or in the title area. If you are within 4 hours of the pet, please be prepared to pick the pet up. We do provide transport assistance up to 350 miles. The applicant must drive the remainder of the distance of the transport.
