He's a water fanatic, loves to swim (with supervision, of course), and will happily sploot, flop, and roll into ultimate chill mode when it's time to relax. He's a strong, smart boy who is trainable, needing guidance on leash manners and basic obedience. Diesel has a high prey drive, so cats and small animals aren't a match for him. Toys are his passion, but he can destroy them if left alone, so durable, indestructible toys are a must. Diesel is curious, adventurous, and loves being out and about, whether it's for a walk, a swim, or a visit to the hardware store. He ignores other dogs when he's on the leash, but is social with people and is happy to be petted. Just like a child, he loves to go to the pet store to pick out toys. He's a conversation starter with a squeaky ball in his mouth and a sparkle in his eyes. People comment on his friendly disposition. When he's tired, he lets you know by flopping down on his belly, even if it's in the middle of the store.
