Despite his initial nerves, Banjo has never shown an ounce of aggression—even when scared. He’s incredibly gentle and takes comfort in the presence of other dogs, especially his best friend Mila, a fellow Rottie also in our rescue. The two are very bonded, and we would love nothing more than to find them a forever home together. But if that’s not possible, we strongly believe Banjo would thrive in a home with at least one other dog to help build his confidence. Banjo is both potty and crate trained. Walks well on a leash and is learning basic commands. Banjo is truly a diamond in the rough—loving, loyal, and just waiting for the right family (and maybe a furry sibling) to help him shine. Adoption Process: If you are interested in adopting one of our fun-loving, "not-so-rotten" Rotties, you will be asked to fill out our adoption application which allows us to get to know you better. This ensures the dog you are interested in is a good fit for your family and lifestyle. After reviewing your answers, if we feel the dog you are interested in is not a match for your family, we may recommend a different Rottweiler companion. Once we determine which dog is best for you, we will schedule a meeting at their current home, where they feel most comfortable and act naturally. We require a home check to ensure each dog is going to a safe environment. To finalize the process, an adoption contract must be signed. We also require a rehoming fee, which is typically $500 for most adults and $350 for seniors (6 years and older) or Rottweiler mixes of any age (excluding puppies). Fees for puppies fluctuate depending on the investment required for the litter and whether they are purebred or a mix. These funds are necessary for our organization to continue rehoming Rottweilers in need. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and have tested negative for heartworms. Each dog comes with a collar and a leash. We also address any injuries or illnesses they had upon arrival or developed in foster care; any such conditions will be fully disclosed to the adopter prior to the adoption. Please Note: In almost all cases, we do not adopt to out-of-state applicants. On rare occasions, if we feel it is a PERFECT match for both you and the dog, we may make an exception for our neighbors in Las Vegas.
